Today, I’d like to share a poem I wrote a few weeks ago while thinking back to rainy summer afternoons. I hope you enjoy!
“Summer Rain”
Tiny rain droplets
flow down the
window pane coating
the earth’s surface
providing refreshing and
coolness to blades
of grass leaves
sway in the
wind, soaking the
mist of drizzle
flowers awake from
their sleep and
show their bright
colors birds provide
food for their
babies the earth
comes to life
with the fresh
burst of summer
rain.
